We Need Diverse Books (WNDB) is proud to have published Baptist's award-winning story "The Beans and Rice Chronicles of Isaiah Dunn" in the middle-grade anthology FLYING LESSONS. Isaiah Dunn Is My Hero emerged from this short story as a full-length novel.
For this event, Kelly will be in conversation with WNDB co-founder, Ellen Oh.
